Referral Scheme

One of the best ways for the club to get new members in is through member referral. It’s also one of our most popular ways for people to join.

We want to reward our members to refer new members to us.

We’ve deliberately kept the scheme as simple as possible;

1. You refer a member

2. They start training, and you or they let us know you referred them

For students joined/joining before 1st of January 2025;

• We offer £15.00 for all student referrals, this can be used towards lessons, equipment, gradings, events, or licenses. Redeemable once the new student has licensed with us.

For students joining/joined after 1st of January 2025;

• We offer a one-off 25% of the referred student/s membership fee, to cover the same costs as mentioned above, upon receipt of their first monthly payment

Terms & Rules

1. The scheme does not apply to new students who receive the household discount

2. The scheme applies to students joining on/after the 1st of December 2023, or on/after the 1st of January 2025 for the 25% bonus

3. Only one person can receive the referral reward per student

4. The scheme only applies for students who have not trained under Sensei Matt before, and who are wholly new to the Club

5. The reward voucher cannot be spent on anything external of Oubaitori Karate Club
