The team will tell you if this is the case.

All kit must be clean, in good working condition, and safe. This is at the discretion of the officials on the day. Disqualification can occur due to equipment issues.

Kata

• Competition dependant, red belt + blue belt

Kumite

• White Karate Gi

• Boots / instep guards (Kumite specific, not joined to shin guards)

• Shin pads

• Headguard (kids)

Point Fighting / Points

• Points Mitts (enclosed finger/thumb, open palm)

• Gumshield

• Headguard, no cheek protection, with top protection dipped foam or similar

• Shin guards

• Point fighting boots

• Kickboxing trousers (Gi bottoms normally acceptable) + Club T-shirt OR

• Kickboxing uniform
